A little bit
about Áine
Whilst Áine holds a BA in Psychology and a Master in Arts & Cultural Management from Queen Margaret University, Edinburgh, the truth is, most of her time in third level education was spent in UCD’s DramSoc.
Áine’s career in the arts & entertainment world has been wonderfully varied. She has worked for the Edinburgh Festival Fringe, the Royal Court theatre in London, and as an agent in the comedy department of Lisa Richards. She loves theatre and live performance.
She then became an agent in Troika, the prestigious talent agency in London, where she repped the most exciting talent and worked with the best colleagues.
Having spent nearly a decade working closely with actors and comedians, Áine moved into casting in 2020 and worked with Amy Rowan and at Louise Kiely Casting, all absolute legends.
Áine O’Sullivan Casting was launched with A24’s MOTHER MARY directed by David Lowery as her first production.
Áine works across film, television and theatre. She has had the absolute joy of working with brilliant Irish filmmakers like Jim Sheridan and Nell Hensey and also established international auteurs such as Richard Linklater and Joshua Oppenheimer.
